- Description
Perfect for fans of gothic, Afro-Caribbean fantasy where the magic is ancient, the darkness follows creation, and desire always comes at universal cost.
He created everything. And still, it wasn't enough.
He was Infinite. He was flawless. He was utterly, devastatingly alone.
Before Time had a name, there was only the expanse of Everdawn — obsidian thrones, blackfire stars, and a river of pearls so full of catastrophic wonder they trembled to be opened. The Infinite had built all of it. And standing in the middle of his masterpiece, he felt something no being of pure perfection should ever feel. The rotting ache for something more.
So he reached — past perfection, past infinity, past every reason not to — and pulled one trembling pearl from the river.
One pearl. One decision. One moment that existed outside of Time.
Inside the pearl was Eveshollow — deep emerald, indigo, and violet, spinning in the dark like something that had always been waiting to be found. Beautiful. Hungry. A world humming with a life he hadn't given it permission to have.
He had seen every catastrophic thing it would become — every kingdom that would rise and rot, every soul that would be born into beauty and broken by want. He had counted it all with cold precision, weighed ruin against desire, and found the scales did not trouble him.
So he opened it.
The haunting darkness that followed had a heartbeat. And it will cost the universe everything.

Eveshollow: 1. Pearl of Onyx Starlight
Welcome to Eveshollow
One thing I loved about this episode was the description.
We meet a being who is nameless, and bored because he’s alone. And we get to see his loneliness through the description of where he is which is nothing short of beautiful and breathtaking and yet he’s lonely save for two other “beings” a river (Noahmie) and a book (Vitani). Hope these aren’t spoilers.
Loved the descriptions and his thought process cannot wait for episode 2.
